About Coffee Malem
Coffee was never meant to be an afterthought.

Coffee Malem began with Amro Fadel’s pursuit of better coffee and grew into a founder-led company built on education, accountability, and hands-on experience.
Founded by Amro Fadel in 2018, Coffee Malem is based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The company serves events across New York City, New Jersey, Philadelphia and the Main Line, and Delaware, with selected U.S. projects available by arrangement.

The beginning
2018
It started with practice, teaching, and curiosity.
After nearly 15 years in corporate America, Amro began sharing the skills he had developed as a home barista, focusing on espresso technique, latte art, and the small decisions that shape quality.
Teaching and conversation came naturally. Invitations to serve coffee at events followed.
Those early events revealed a recurring problem: coffee rarely received the same attention as the rest of the gathering.
Coffee Malem was created to change that.
The name
Malem
For Coffee Malem, the name represents someone who knows the work and stands behind the result.
That principle gave the company its name and continues to shape how the team trains, prepares, and serves.
Amro Fadel, founder
Amro stayed close to the work as Coffee Malem grew.
As one mobile setup became several, Amro remained directly involved in barista training, equipment selection, event planning, and menu development. Menus may be developed around the audience, cultural setting, product launch, or broader event concept.
Growth was measured by more than the number of drinks served. Coffee Malem expanded only when the training, equipment, and team could support the same standards of preparation, presentation, and service.
Growth should never move faster than the craft allows.
From one setup to today
The scale changed. The principle did not.
Coffee Malem grew through invitations, repeat clients, and increasingly complex events. Each stage added capacity while preserving the standards behind the service.
